What is the Credits Wallet?

The Web version of the wallet allows you to transfer funds to other network members (CS internal currency or tokens) without installing the Network Node and use smart contracts already available in the network registry (including setting up the rules for launching them). You can access your digital wallet using public and private keys. The service is developed in JAVA language, the client application is on the side of the user's browser.

What is Credits?

Credits is an autonomous blockchain platform based on the principles of peer-to-peer network. It is a decentralized system for direct interaction of its members. Credits provides a completely new technology for decision-making and a new conceptual scheme of interaction. The system incorporates all the users of the network providing them opportunities for creating and using financial services. Every member of the blockchain is able to create a service on top off Credits platform. Platform uses coins, Credits (CS), for all operations on it.

What is Credits Wallet?

Credits Wallet allows to transfer of values (tokens). It is a web version of a wallet. The Wallet portal allows you to transfer tokens through a light version of the platform, without installing the complete client. You can create a digital Wallet, сreate a transaction, transfer values (CS or tokens created on the platform), account balance display. The transaction history data is displayed on the exterior web service “MONITOR”.

How to create a wallet?

For a new user it is necessary to create a new account and the first step is generating new credentials. You need to get your credentials for further use of the service. Click Create New Account and follow the instructions. It is absolutely free. Public and private keys, generated by encrypting password or keyword are used for any operations with an account. Enter password to get the key pair and open the wallet.

How to open your wallet?

If you already have your credentials, click Sign in. You will see two fields for entering private and public keys. You must enter your credentials to unlock it. Fill in these fields and click on Open Your Wallet.

What is the address of the wallet?

The address of your wallet is your public key. All essential information about your account is available in the upper left column in your Credits wallet. Here you will find your address. You can share this number with other members of blockchain for proceeding any transactions and transfer of values.

How to check your balance?

All essential information about your account is available in the upper left column in your Credits wallet. Here you will find your balance — an amount of CS on your balance. Note that only internal cryptocurrency Credits (CS) is used for transfers.

How to send tokens?

After login the User gets access to the Make a Payment section. It is the main form for making any transactions. Here it is possible to transfer any amount of currency (CS) to any other member of Credits blockchain.

What to do, if you send tokens to wrong number?

Unfortunately, you can’t do anything about it, you need to put up with it and be more careful next time. Sent tokens can not be returned.

How to restore access to your wallet?

It is impossibleNo way. If you forget your private key and lost the key-file, you cannot restore the access to your wallet. Be careful!

How to make a copy of your credentials?

When you create a wallet, the system will generate a file with text data that will include private and public keys. You will get the keys as a Keystore file in UTC/JSON format.

What to do if your wallet is hacked?

If you didn’t generate private key with our system and entered simple key, we cannot return your wallet.

What is the Credits fee?

You can see the fee of the system when you make transaction. Verify your transaction. After verification you get Transaction hash. It is an encrypted code contai ning information about current operation that is being transmitted to other blockchain members. Before sending CS check the following fields: receiver’s address, Transaction sum, Transaction Fee. Transaction fee depends directly on the amount of tokens being sent.

What are the most often advices for new users?

After registration, choose secure storage for the file containing the private key.
Be sure that you have carefully saved this data — the keys cannot be restored! Create reserve copy of the document.
Before all operations always check the reliability of the source.
Do not trust any messages and URL’s sent in direct messages.
Don’t share your private key with other people.
Don’t send tokens to strange, unknown people.
Credits never asks you to share your private key or to send tokens.

What are basic user mistakes?

Loss of the private key. This data cannot be recovered. Sharing the private key with another person. The wallet will not be returned if the person changes the private key.
Transfer of tokens through the smart contract. This is an irreversible operation.
Transferring tokens to another person. Always check the recipient's address several times. This is an irreversible operation.
Incorrect data entry.
Communication with people impersonating Credits administrators. The administrators never asks for your personal data or for tokens.
