Credits Blockchain Presentation & Meetup. Full Report

Credits hosted its first meetup and presentation in Moscow on October 25th that brought together the representatives of major investment funds, financial and insurance corporations to discuss the adoption of blockchain technology in financial and insurance industries.

 

Over the course of the event Credits CEO & Founder Igor Chugunov and Chief Business Development Officer Sergis Timofeevs talked about ongoing challenges and the outlook of blockchain technologies as well as of financial and insurance industries, shared strategic goals, unique characteristics and business use-case models of the project.

 

During the product demonstration, Credits CTO Evgeny Butyaev and Deputy CTO Konstantinos Sotiropoulos spoke about the technical features and unique developments of the project, such as consensus, transport and data validation protocols and showcased the functionality of project’s Testnet 2.1 namely Credits Desktop Wallet and Monitor, the execution of smart contracts.

 

Moreover, the meetup participants had the opportunity to test the functionality of the platform. The team members had previously generated private and public keys to access the Credits Web Wallet, so that the participants could send a transaction that was displayed on the Credits Monitor in a real-time operation mode.

 

Over the course of the event Credits team members held discussions with the representatives of major financial, insurance and development companies such as IBM, Oracle and the Centre of Financial Technologies Group.
