Credits Mastercard is compatible with most Android devices that run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later and have NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for contactless payments. To use Mastercard with Google Pay or similar mobile payment services, your device must also support secure NFC, which enables secure transactions.
Additionally, the device must not be rooted or running an uncertified version of Android, as these factors could compromise the security of the payment process.
Google Pay allows you to make payments using your phone, tablet, or smartwatch by storing your debit and credit cards digitally.
Simply tap your device at contactless payment terminals, use it in apps, or on websites that accept Google Pay.
You can find support on the official Google Pay Help Center, where you can access guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources.
Google Pay can be used anywhere contactless payments are accepted, including stores, apps, websites, and public transport systems.
Google Pay is secure, using encryption and tokenization to protect your card information. Each transaction requires authentication through your device's security features, like a passcode, fingerprint, or facial recognition.
If your device is stolen, you can use Google’s Find My Device feature to remotely lock your phone, log out of your Google account, or even erase your device to prevent unauthorized access to Google Pay.
