Credits team at PayExpo 2018. Full Report
Our London business development officer Yassine Anaddam represented Credits at one of the largest Fintech annual events in London PayExpo 2018
PayExpo featured 102 speakers and 44 sponsors for 2 days. It was an event of meaningful cross-industry networking and huge announcements from industry leaders. Credits had productive talks with potential partners and we have plenty to follow up on. The event had observed an attendance of over 4000 people.
Returning for its sixth year, PayExpo is one of the best places to share knowledge and rub shoulders with the disruptors and innovators driving change in payments and fintech. Santander, Paddy Power, Fitbit, HSBC, Starling Bank and many more, were amongst the featured speakers.
The payments Punch-Up at PayExpo was an interesting way of featuring five pairs of payments heavyweights going face to face on the industry's most controversial topics!
Taking place in a boxing ring, live on the show floor, David Birch, Director and Consultant of Hyperion presented the debates across both days of PayExpo. It’s an activity where each pair presents his arguments and tries to beat the other party’s argument. We’ve seen debates about the future potential of Cryptocurrency, AI and the challenges of open Banking. The audience would then vote before and after each debate to find out how persuasive the speakers have been.
