Q&A Session with Credits CEO, Igor Chugunov

Greetings!

We are glad to see you at our Questions and Answers Session! Thank you for being eager to keep up to date with everything happening at Credits. Here are the latest questions from our community:

Q1: How many Tokens does the team own? Where we can check it out?
A:A certain part of the tokens is distributed into small parts for operating expenses, as well as for nodes to maintain the network. Meanwhile, you can track the main part on the following wallets:

  • CVVv2RE8hBHGwLGxMnzfSk9Y5uJGojPFkkEGLJ99dF1t
  • 6ZFMWWuiEY7cZkhFijcpDrSW82v4rDtJ8txqUyjZV339

  • CP61CvDfue56B2jXnqXvMMdzA9tLeQjDtxZHRhC8CWdA
Q2: When we add more countries for the apps? Is there any exact date or estimation for this?
A: This is a rather broad question related to market regulation. Not all countries see the advent of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies as a threat, albeit for different reasons.  Some of the jurisdictions, while not recognizing cryptocurrencies as legal tender, see a potential in the technology behind it and are developing a cryptocurrency-friendly regulatory regime as a means to attract investment in technology companies that excel in this sector. We are working to make the multifunctional features of cryptocurrency available to most countries in the world. I think it will be possible in the immediate future.

Q3. What is the main focus of Credits project right now? Blockchain project or we shift to payment system?
A: We are focused on both directions, as we consider them interconnected. In this regard, we have a conditional division into departments within Credits. You can find out what we are targeting from our Product Strategy 2021

Q4: Is there any plan to add NFT Market in Credits Mobile Application?
A: Shortly, there are no such plans as we have more priority to launch our main functionality. However, we are considering adding NFTs in the future, subject to the availability of appropriate conditions and clear benefits for the Credits ecosystem.

Q5: Is there any estimation of when the staking will be released for the Mobile application?
A: Staking is an important element of the Credits development. However, as far as the release is concerned, this functionality will appear first in the Web Wallet. This will unlikely be implemented until fall since now we have different functionality in the roadmap on the way.

Q6: Since there is a new update for Credits Website. Is there any plan to change the monitor website: https://monitor.credits.com/?
A: Yes, we are considering the possibility of updating Credits Monitor and Web Wallet. At the moment, I cannot provide any exact dates.

Q7: Is it right to think that the Credits public blockchain would be better left relatively unused by third parties, in order to facilitate a quicker and less memory-intensive database for use with Credits own wallet/digital banking app?
A: Since it is a public network, everyone can use it. I don't think it will be heavily loaded in the near future. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the impact on the performance of our or third-party services.

Good day, thank you for your questions and participation! We do appreciate your drive for Credits development!
