Credits Weekly Digest

Dear Credits Community, our weekly news update!

As always we’ve answered your most important questions received the previous week in our Q&A Session with Igor Chugunov. Please find it here.  We welcome your feedback and questions, please feel free to reach out on our social media and in TG chats.

Blockchain. Public Speed/Load Test.

On Tuesday, March 16th we’ve carried out an internal test with a group of external testers. The results we have received are quite satisfying, with the maximum TPS reached 35k. More details for the passed test here.

Following the test, the team has been analyzing the logs and data received and discovered one more bug. This bug causes blocks to send additional requests and slowing down synchronization, same bug makes it impossible for some nodes to become trusted.

At present we are working to erase the issue, and due to this extra task, we have moved the second internal test with external testers to Monday, March 22.

Blockchain. MainNet Update.

We are getting ready for the April MainNet update. The team is testing the quick-start function, analyzing the results of the tests, and fixing the bugs if any are found. As soon as the results reached in the tests are fulfilling, we will transfer this functionality to the TestNet.

Credits Digital Wallet

The main focus of the developers’ team now is on final tests of the new version of the app.

Some important updates we are happy to share here concerning Credits payment integration with partners.

  • We've successfully passed the partner's AML / Finances Control audit for launching the card and accounts program in the UK and Europe.

  • As part of the AML framework, we have built a procedure for transaction monitoring, and now we’ve started negotiating with software vendors for its automation.

  • We’ve obtained approval to start working with a new acquirer based in Europe and the Asian-Pacific Region, on fairly favorable terms (accepting cards, withdrawing funds to accounts in EUR, USD, SGD).

  • We’ve launched the company registration process for the card program set up in the Asia-Pacific region.

  • We started negotiations with Foreign Currency Exchange providers.

  • A new compliance advisor with a great portfolio of past cases ( which included Wyelands Bank and the National Bank of Egypt) joined our team recently. We are looking forward to collaborating with him on our project.
