Q&A Session with Credits CEO, Igor Chugunov.

Hello all.

I have covered here questions received from our community last week on the company strategy, vision, and business development.

Q: “Do Credits rely on our nodes or do you have own nodes? Wasn't that IBM partnership about it? Nodes on their platform?”

A: We have nodes on the Credits blockchain run by different participants. If you mean where we run Credits nodes, we do run some nodes on external hosting servers, yes, but not on IBM at the moment.

Q: “Why we can’t see CS do NFT as a new product??”

A: NFT is a new emerging product. Credits team is fully focused on the products' development currently in the pipeline. New product launch requires research on the product, business opportunity, business strategy, and team to make it. So as you can see, going ahead with any new product is not that easy. However, Credits Blockchain allows you to create NFTs. If anyone from the community wants to implement such solutions, please do not hesitate to tell us.

Q: “May I ask what is the next step for Credits? What are the team focusing on?”

A: Please see our Product Strategy 2021

Q: “Is Credits still throwing out its 1m trans per second theory?”

A: The idea with a speed of one million TPS is quite feasible. We have to remember here a few aspects: hardware, software, node code itself.

Today's code of a node most likely will be able to reach this speed on supercomputers. Though existing code will have to be modified in a certain way so we can run nodes on these super-powerful machines.

What also will be needed is a fast hard drive and a fast database.

We are not throwing out this idea, and in the right conditions, we can meet this goal. So with a spread of new level of hardware globally, we will come back to this.

Q: ”I’m interested in “Credits” I have an electronic business and looking for a new way. Will it work with Apple Pay?

A: Apple Pay will become available in 4Q2021.

Q: “Can anyone explain that the public load speed test of the Credits blockchain has not yet been publicly announced?”

A: We have held an internal test with third-party testers today, we will publish general results received during the test tomorrow. One more such test is planned for the end of the week, after that, we will be announcing the date for the Public Speed/Load Test.

Q: “I want to ask. From 2018 to 2020. We saw a regular partnership announcement purported to use the blockchain. I will like to know where has all this project gone to?”

A: There were different partnerships, many are still ongoing. Some of them were for pilot product versions, and are under NDA. As a general update to the partnerships for blockchain adoption, I can say that they are very much long-term and still ongoing. When we are in a position to share some news regarding them, we will do so.

I hope I have provided here full answers and thank you all for sending us questions!

Please remember we collect them in our social media and TG chats during the week, and answer them each Tuesday. Anything else you wanted to ask us, you are very welcome to do so on our channels!
