Credits Digest

Here you can find all our news and updates that have taken place over the past two weeks. Please note that we are issuing News Digests twice a month due to the development routine, a two-week sprint.

Credits Q&A Please find here the latest session of Q&A, which was published on December 31st. Please feel free to send questions via social media or TG chat. Due to the number of questions received, we are changing monthly AMAs to twice a month sessions.

Node Reward Program

To encourage Credits node holders monthly, we run the Credits Rewards Program. January distribution details will be released shortly, please stay tuned.

Blockchain

We continue to work on building a system for launching smart contracts, namely, an additional executor, integrating the node with the EVM. At the moment, the executor has been assembled as a first approximation. The development of the interface with the node is in progress. Also with the EVM, now we are developing an interface with the node. Additionally, we monitor situations in the network, where there is now a periodic backlog of nodes. For now, we are investigating the reasons.

Credits wallet

The Credit wallet development sprint was finished last Friday, February 4th, and we have now moved into the next one. Below we provide an overview of the previous sprint results and tasks for the ongoing. What have we finished in the last sprint?

Withdrawals to the bank accounts:

withdrawal to a bank account is integrated and now moved to internal testing phase

Withdrawals to the clients’ cards from Credits wallet:

is added and now is in testing

It should be noted that the first stage of withdrawing funds to the card is currently being implemented. According to the results of testing, we will not transfer the withdrawal to the Production environment yet, due to security and compliance further need for improvement (scheduled for the next sprints)

Reservation of channels for output to the card:

is integrated and in testing

Notifications:

We have tidied up the order and structure of the notifications stored in the App (messages notifications on receipts, transfers, withdrawals, etc.). The added enhanced mechanism of notifications is transferred to the test stage.

We also added the functionality for reserving message transmission to the client (if the provider does not send a message to the Client, then we switch to another one, at this moment we use sms and push notifications): moved to the test stage.

We integrated a more efficient notification service on vulnerabilities of some services (for example, the exchange is not available, etc.): in the test

Crypto:

USDt, USDc, DAI tokens are still being implemented, we didn’t manage to integrate them in the past sprint, and this task has moved to the current one.

The internal Credits wallet beta test
The Credits team has done an internal test of beta Credits wallet.

Based on the results of this testing we had to move forward some of the development tasks to a later date. At this moment the priority is to remove defects identified in the beta, including those found in the customer service (mobile application, accounting system).

However, please note that we will not be proceeding with all the requests we have received in the beta test, some less critical ones will flow into the next test.

We have to undertake this approach as our sprint is full already, and we have to move on in accordance to the priorities, so less important fixes will be managed in the future sprints.

In this beta test we have collected many feedbacks, comments and suggestions which we are grateful for. In general we do not encounter critical problems in the Credits wallet development.

We expect the next beta test to be arranged at the end of February, after we finish the priority tasks that are now in development. Please stay tuned.

Credits team would like to thank all test participants for their time and detailed feedback provided.

The mining

Following up the mining idea presented in Blockchain strategy 2022, we released an overview for the process here. Please feel free to send us more ideas and questions on the mining topic as we are happy to undertake all of them for consideration.
